MetLife’s Preferred Dentist Program (PDP) is a Dental Preferred Provider Organization (DPPO) available to employees of participating groups. When you have access to MetLife's PDP, you have access to a nationwide network of over 135,000 dental locations consisting of general and specialty dentists who met well-established credentialing standards.

The MetLife Preferred Dentist Program (PDP) offers you plan benefits based on negotiated fees that typically range from 15% to 45% less than the average fees for the same or similar services charged by dentists in your area. All participating PDP dentists have agreed to accept negotiated fees as payment in full for in-network services rendered, and these fees may even extend to services not covered by your plan and those provided after you’ve exceeded your annual benefits maximum.
