Group Life and Disability Insurance
Founded in 1962, BEST Life and Health Insurance Company ("BEST Life") has been providing affordable medical, dental, vision and life insurance products to employers.
They offer a wide variety of group life insurance policies. All come with dependent spouse coverage and the option to add AD&D coverage.
Essential Group Life- A Group Term Life plan for groups with 10 or more enrolling
- Optional AD&D, Dependent and Supplemental Life
- Individuals can increase coverage for themselves, or include insurance for their children
- Guarantee issue amounts are based on total group volume
- 2-year rate guarantee and discounts are available for preferred industries
Essential Group Life also provides a Conversion privilege with or without evidence of insurability depending on how long the employee has been employed.
Passport Portable and Voluntary Life- This plan is completely voluntary and portable! A minimum of ten participants can enroll on a stand-alone basis or in conjunction with any of our other products. Employees can choose coverage in $10,000 increments up to five times their annual earnings to a maximum of $300,000.
- Minimum of ten participants enrolled
- Guarantee issue amounts increase with employee participation
- Minimum guarantee issue of $50,000 for employees under age 60
- Coverage for children and spouses is also available.
BEST Flex- BEST Flex can be offered to groups as small as 2 when sold in conjunction with another BEST Life product or is available as a stand alone plan for groups with 10-50 enrolled. There are no ineligible industries, no enrollment fees and depending on group size, up to $30,000 of coverage is available without additional health information.
